Deanland Wood Park is one of the most sought after Park Homes Estates in the South East of England.   Located in Golden Cross near to Eastbourne and Brighton on the south coast this residential park home estate has been family owned for over 50 years.  It specialises in the active retired, who want a trouble free quality of life living in the rural Sussex countryside and has almost 400 homes with a wide range of facilities. 

Recognising the value of better and more reliable broadband both to the Company and to the residents on the park, manager Steve Whitehead has more than ‘gone the extra mile’ to support the eSussex infrastructure project. Installing a power route to the new Broadband Cabinet was proving to be a particular problem with the geography of the area and location of existing utilities.  As a result, following very positive discussions between Steve and Openreach, with a ‘can do’ approach on both sides, an arrangement has been made whereby the power source is being taken from the park itself rather than building a new and complex route crossing a major ‘A’ road in the County.

Steve says:
